There is no performance left to witness, no dramatic gesture and no need to prove their closeness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey are simply walking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTogether.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTheir joined hands become the quiet centre of the composition — small compared with everything around them, yet somehow enough.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe unfinished graphite, pale open space and broad painterly passages allow the world ahead to remain deliberately unresolved.
