After The Rain
ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
AFTER THE RAIN
There is a particular kind of quiet that belongs to autumn after the rain.
The pavements are still wet, the trees are slowly letting go of their leaves, and familiar streets seem softer somehow — their colours reflected in the road, their usual noise temporarily gone.
For a few minutes, nothing seems to be asking for our attention.
After the Rain captures that small pause. An ordinary street, a fading autumn tree and a single leaf still making its way down — nothing dramatic, and yet enough to make us stop and look.
It is for those who love autumn not only for its colour, but for its quieter side too: empty streets, damp air, reflections in puddles and those unexpectedly peaceful moments when the whole world seems to have lowered its voice.
PRODUCT DETAILS
A Fine Art print from the Surreal Mindscapes Fine Art Edition, created through a fusion of painterly imagery, expressive graphite and layered mixed-media-inspired texture.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to bring out the delicate graphite work, painterly surfaces and subtle tonal transitions of the artwork.
COLOURWAY
A restrained autumn palette of warm ivory, stone, charcoal, muted ochre, soft brown and weathered gold, with darker reflections adding depth to the rain-washed street.
AVAILABLE FORMATS
STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm
A smaller, intimate presentation that suits the stillness and generous negative space of the composition.
SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm
A larger presentation in which the wet reflections, dissolving architecture and delicate graphite details become more visible while retaining the quiet openness of the original artwork.
Small differences in cropping, spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.
The visible graphite lines, painterly marks, irregular textures and softly unfinished areas are intentional parts of the artwork.
