First Dance - A Little Giddy

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION

FIRST DANCE

First Dance is about that lovely, slightly unreal moment when a familiar love suddenly feels new again.

It is about the music starting, the smile you cannot quite hide, and two people finding their rhythm together as husband and wife.

There is excitement in it, a little nervous energy, a little laughter — and that wonderful feeling of beginning married life while still being completely yourselves.

Sometimes a new chapter does not begin with a grand gesture.

Sometimes it begins with a hand at your waist, music playing, and a dance.

PRODUCT DETAILS

An original Fine Art Literary Keepsake, combining poetry, painterly imagery and typography in one carefully composed artwork.

Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to bring out the soft graphite, painterly marks and subtle tonal detail of the artwork.

AVAILABLE FORMATS

STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm

A smaller, more intimate version with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adjusted for this size while keeping the balance and character of the original artwork.

SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm

The artwork at its intended scale. The texture of a traditional deckled (torn) paper edge is reproduced within the artwork itself, while the physical print is clean-cut to fit neatly into a standard 30 × 40 cm frame.

Small differences in spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.

The visible graphite lines, painterly marks and softly unfinished edges are intentional parts of the artwork.

PERSONALISATION

A name, date or short dedication may be added in a subtle handwritten style, thoughtfully placed to complement the original composition.

For this artwork, the couple’s names, wedding date and the title of their first dance song may also be included as part of the personalisation.

Example: “The Sky Back Home · Caroline & Christopher · 24th August 2026”

UNFRAMED

The print is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled settings shown in product images are for presentation only.

Colours and subtle tonal details may vary slightly between your screen and the finished Fine Art print.

Designed and created by Surreal Mindscapes.
