ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
NO ONE TELLS YOU
No One Tells You is about the part of becoming a mother that is difficult to explain until you are living it.
Life may look much the same from the outside, while internally almost everything has shifted. Priorities change, time feels different, and attention becomes tuned to another human being in a way that can be both instinctive and completely unfamiliar.
There is tenderness in those early days, but also tiredness, uncertainty and the gradual discovery of a version of yourself you haven't known before.
Created for mothers, this piece honours that enormous change without trying to make it perfect — the quiet beginning of a relationship, and of a woman finding her way into motherhood.
PRODUCT DETAILS
An original Fine Art Literary Keepsake, combining poetry, painterly imagery and typography in one carefully composed artwork.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to bring out the soft graphite, painterly marks and subtle tonal detail of the artwork.
COLOURWAY
This artwork is created in a warm ivory and neutral colourway, combining soft cream, stone, muted charcoal, natural skin tones and subtle touches of warm gold.
AVAILABLE FORMATS
STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm
A smaller, more intimate version with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adjusted for this size while keeping the balance and character of the original artwork.
SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm
The artwork at its intended scale, allowing the poetry, painterly textures and intimate details of the composition to become a stronger part of the finished piece.
Small differences in spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.
The visible graphite lines, painterly marks and softly unfinished areas are intentional parts of the artwork.
UNFRAMED
The print is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled settings shown in product images are for presentation only.
Colours and subtle tonal details may vary slightly between your screen and the finished Fine Art print.
