A woman watches as birds rise into the open space above her. She does not reach after them. There is no attempt to call them back or decide where they should go. She simply allows them to leave.
And perhaps that is what release really is.

Not pretending something never mattered.
Not necessarily even wanting it to go.
Sometimes it is simply recognising that we no longer need to hold so tightly.
The birds bring movement and freedom into the composition, while fragmented graphite-inspired lines and geometric forms remain around the figure like traces of thoughts, structures and experiences that have not completely disappeared. She remains among them — calm, present, looking upward.
Created for those who have ever had to let go without erasing what came before — of a person, an expectation, an old version of themselves, a fear, or simply something whose time had passed.
Because letting go does not always mean losing.
