ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
THE EVENING GATHERED HERE
The Evening Gathered Here is a study of the kind of closeness that rarely announces itself as important.
It reflects on how some of the moments we treasure most are formed without ceremony — simply through presence, familiarity and the ease of being together.
The work holds a quiet truth: memory often chooses for us what was worth keeping.
PRODUCT DETAILS
An original Fine Art Literary Keepsake, bringing poetry, painterly imagery and typography together as a single composition.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a heavyweight archival paper chosen for its beautifully tactile surface and its ability to reproduce delicate graphite, painterly detail and subtle tonal variation.
AVAILABLE FORMATS
STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm
A more intimate presentation with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adapted for this format while preserving the balance and character of the original artwork.
SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm
The original composition at its intended scale. The beautiful texture of a traditional deckled (torn) paper edge is reproduced as part of the artwork itself, while the physical print is clean-cut to fit neatly into a standard 30 × 40 cm frame.
Subtle differences in spacing and placement may occur between formats as each version is carefully composed for its dimensions.
Visible graphite traces, painterly marks and softly unresolved edges are intentional elements of the artwork and form part of its original Fine Art composition.
PERSONALISATION
A name, date or short dedication may be added in a subtle handwritten style, thoughtfully placed to complement the original composition.
Example: “At ours · Emma, James, Anne & Chris · 2026”
UNFRAMED
The print is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled settings shown in product imagery are for presentation only.
Please note that subtle variations in colour and tone may occur between your screen and the finished Fine Art print.
Designed and created by Surreal Mindscapes.
