ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
THE SAFEST PLACE
The Safest Place is about the kind of comfort a baby knows before they can understand anything else.
In the earliest days, reassurance is wonderfully simple — familiar warmth, closeness, being fed, being held, and knowing that someone is there.
Created around that deeply instinctive bond between mother and baby, this piece remembers a time when an entire world could become small enough to fit within someone's arms.
A tender keepsake for those fleeting first months, when being close was everything.
PRODUCT DETAILS
An original Fine Art Literary Keepsake, combining painterly imagery and typography in one carefully composed artwork.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to bring out the soft graphite, painterly marks and subtle tonal detail of the artwork.
COLOURWAY
This artwork is created in a warm gold and neutral colourway, combining soft ivory, stone, charcoal, natural skin tones and touches of warm gold.

A smaller, more intimate version with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adjusted for this size while keeping the balance and character of the original artwork.

Small differences in spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.
The visible graphite lines, painterly marks and softly unfinished areas are intentional parts of the artwork.
