The Woman Who Drew Herself captures a woman not as a finished portrait, but as someone quietly participating in her own creation.
A pencil rests in her hand while graphite, organic forms and fragments of paint gather around her face. It is deliberately unclear where the drawing ends and the woman begins — as though she might be adding the next line herself.
There is no urgency in her expression. She is not searching for permission, nor waiting for someone else to decide who she should become.
She simply holds the pencil.
Created for women who have changed, begun again, chosen differently, or gradually learned that their own hand belongs in the story of who they are.
We cannot choose every line we are given.
