Autumn can be difficult to dress for.
She appears to have solved the problem by not really dressing for it at all.
A little ivy, a good pair of shoes and apparently complete confidence in the forecast.
Whether this provides adequate protection from an autumn breeze is questionable.
She doesn't appear particularly concerned.
Undressed for the Weather takes a playful approach to the season, placing a solitary figure within an old stone city where autumn seems to have become something she can quite literally wear.
Ivy trails from the weathered walls across her body and continues behind her, making it difficult to tell where the city ends and she begins. Stone, foliage and figure gradually dissolve into painterly passages, graphite-inspired lines and generous warm-ivory space.
There is something slightly impossible about her, but she walks through the streets as though nothing about the situation requires explanation.
Perhaps that is the secret.
When wearing autumn itself, apparently a coat is optional.
