Along the way, dancers appear like moments within a melody. Each one caught in a different movement, each a little further along the impossible road.
There is freedom in the scene, but also trust.
The kind required when we stop trying to control every step and allow ourselves to be carried by something we love.
Perhaps music does that better than almost anything else. A few notes can return us to somewhere we thought we had forgotten, change the rhythm of an ordinary day, or make us want to move before we have even decided to.
