ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
THE COAT CAME BACK DOWNSTAIRS
The Coat Came Back Downstairs is about the tiny domestic signs that tell us a new season has arrived before we quite acknowledge it ourselves.
A familiar coat by the door, muddier walks, things quietly returning to their old places — ordinary details that somehow make a home feel different.
A gently humorous observation of everyday life and the almost unnoticed rituals that mark the beginning of autumn.
PRODUCT DETAILS
An original Fine Art Literary Keepsake, combining poetry, painterly imagery and typography in one carefully composed artwork.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to bring out the soft graphite, painterly marks and subtle tonal detail of the artwork.
AVAILABLE FORMATS
STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm
A smaller, more intimate version with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adjusted for this size while keeping the balance and character of the original artwork.
SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm
The artwork at its intended scale. The texture of a traditional deckled (torn) paper edge is reproduced within the artwork itself, while the physical print is clean-cut to fit neatly into a standard 30 × 40 cm frame.
Small differences in spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.
The visible graphite lines, painterly marks and softly unfinished edges are intentional parts of the artwork.
PERSONALISATION
A name, date or short dedication may be added in a subtle handwritten style, thoughtfully placed to complement the original composition.
Personalisation is entirely optional — the artwork may also be ordered exactly as shown.
UNFRAMED
The print is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled settings shown in product images are for presentation only.
Colours and subtle tonal details may vary slightly between your screen and the finished Fine Art print.
Designed and created by Surreal Mindscapes.
