Eighteen is about watching your child reach that strange point between the person you have raised and the adult they are beginning to become.

There is pride in seeing them make their own choices, find their own way and need you differently — but also the quiet comfort of discovering that growing up does not mean growing apart.

Some things change. Some things simply find a new shape.

And perhaps that is one of the loveliest parts of eighteen: learning that you can still walk beside one another, just in a different way.

AVAILABLE FORMATS

STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm

A smaller, more intimate version with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adjusted for this size while keeping the balance and character of the original artwork.

SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm

The artwork at its intended scale. The texture of a traditional deckled (torn) paper edge is reproduced within the artwork itself, while the physical print is clean-cut to fit neatly into a standard 30 × 40 cm frame.

Small differences in spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.

The visible graphite lines, painterly marks and softly unfinished edges are intentional parts of the artwork.

PERSONALISATION

A name, date or short dedication may be added in a subtle handwritten style, thoughtfully placed to complement the original composition.

The age and wording can also be adapted to suit the person receiving the artwork. Eighteen may be changed to another milestone age, and references such as daughter / son, along with the relevant wording and pronouns, can be adjusted accordingly.
