ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
FIRST BENEATH MY HEART
A poem about the time before three people can finally stand together in the same room.
First Beneath My Heart reflects on pregnancy from the perspective of two parents already loving the same baby in different ways — one feeling every movement from within, the other reaching through touch and waiting for the moment when both can finally hold them.
A quiet keepsake for the months when a family is already becoming three.
A companion Fine Art artwork, First Beneath My Heart, is available separately and was created to sit alongside the poem as a coordinated pair.
PRODUCT DETAILS
A literary Fine Art print from the Surreal Mindscapes Words to Keep collection, combining original writing, restrained typography and a softly tactile paper-inspired composition.
The generous negative space and subtle irregular surface keep the focus firmly on the words, allowing the poem to remain the emotional centre of the piece.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to complement the understated character of the Words to Keep collection.
COMPANION ARTWORK
Designed to pair with the Fine Art artwork First Beneath My Heart, available separately within the Baby & New Arrival collection.
Both pieces are intended to stand beautifully on their own or to be displayed together as a meaningful Companion Pair.
