ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
FIRST DANCE
First Dance is about that strange little moment when everything around you seems to fall away.
You have known this person before. You know their hands, their voice, the way it feels to stand close to them.
And yet, for the length of one song, something feels different.
Because now you are no longer simply two people in love.
You are husband and wife.
PRODUCT DETAILS
An original Fine Art Literary Keepsake, combining poetry, painterly imagery and typography in one carefully composed artwork.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to bring out the soft graphite, painterly marks and subtle tonal detail of the artwork.
AVAILABLE FORMATS
STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm
A smaller, more intimate version with a clean-cut edge. The composition is carefully adjusted for this size while keeping the balance and character of the original artwork.
SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm
The artwork at its intended scale. The texture of a traditional deckled (torn) paper edge is reproduced within the artwork itself, while the physical print is clean-cut to fit neatly into a standard 30 × 40 cm frame.
Small differences in spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed to suit its proportions.
The visible graphite lines, painterly marks and softly unfinished edges are intentional parts of the artwork.
PERSONALISATION
The couple’s names, wedding date and the title of their first dance may be added in a subtle handwritten style, thoughtfully placed within the composition.
A short personal dedication may also be included if desired.
Example: “The Sky Back Home · Caroline & Christopher · 30th September 2000”
UNFRAMED
The print is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled settings shown in product images are for presentation only.
Colours and subtle tonal details may vary slightly between your screen and the finished Fine Art print.
Designed and created by Surreal Mindscapes.
