I couldn't resist creating at least one Christmas piece about charades.

They are simply too much fun.

There is something wonderfully ridiculous about a room full of perfectly sensible adults suddenly behaving as though their lives depend on guessing what someone is trying to act out.

And the best part? Everyone genuinely believes they are helping.

No One Is Helping is a playful celebration of those gloriously chaotic Christmas moments when nobody is particularly dignified, the competitive spirit gets slightly out of hand, and the laughter becomes far more important than winning.

Because Christmas isn't only about beautiful traditions and meaningful moments.

Sometimes it is about being completely ridiculous with the people you love.

And those are often the memories that stay with us.

A snow-covered rooftop and weathered brick chimney rise above a softly illuminated winter village. Broad painterly passages, delicate graphite-inspired trajectories and generous warm-ivory space create a quiet, atmospheric setting for an original poem that is considerably less quiet.
