ONE LAST LOOK

The others have already begun to disappear into the landscape.

One remains.

One Last Look captures that brief moment between belonging somewhere and leaving it behind — when the decision has perhaps already been made, but something still asks us to turn around.

A small pack of wolves moves quietly towards the distant hills, gradually dissolving from painted form into loose graphite until they seem almost absorbed by the landscape itself. Near the old doorway, one wolf pauses and looks back.

And suddenly the image becomes about much more than wolves.

There are places, people and chapters of our lives that we eventually have to leave. Sometimes we walk away because we are ready. Sometimes because life has simply begun moving in another direction. But leaving does not mean that what was behind us mattered any less.

The open doorway creates the feeling that we are standing on the other side of that final glance — watching something we once knew begin its journey elsewhere.

Created for those drawn to wild landscapes, quiet symbolism and artwork that leaves part of its story unresolved.
