ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
WHATEVER CHRISTMAS LOOKS LIKE FOR YOU
We all have an idea of what Christmas is supposed to look like.
And then, of course, there is real life.
Whatever Christmas Looks Like for You is a warm and thoughtful Christmas wish for the people in our lives, wherever they may be and however they choose to spend the season.
Christmas can mean so many different things at different stages of our lives.
Some years are full of excitement and familiar faces. Others are quieter. Traditions change, circumstances change, and sometimes the Christmas we find ourselves having is quite different from the one we imagined.
And that is perfectly all right.
There is something lovely about giving someone a Christmas wish that doesn't come with expectations. One that doesn't assume they have a house full of people, an elaborate dinner or everything beautifully organised.
Just a genuine hope that somewhere in the season, they find something that makes them happy.
A softly glowing candle, winter greenery, delicate red berries and traditional Christmas crackers rest on a weathered wooden cabinet. Rich painterly passages, graphite-inspired marks and generous warm-ivory space bring the festive still life and original poetry together.
The artwork has a quiet elegance, but its message is wonderfully down to earth.
It is about kindness, understanding and remembering that the people we care about may experience Christmas in very different ways.
A meaningful Christmas keepsake for family, friends, neighbours or anyone to whom you would simply like to send a little warmth.
Not a wish for the perfect Christmas.
Just a wish for a good one, whatever that may look like.
PRODUCT DETAILS
A digital Fine Art Literary Keepsake by Surreal Mindscapes, created through a mixed-media-inspired approach combining original poetry, painterly Christmas still-life imagery, graphite-inspired drawing, expressive texture and elegant handwritten typography within one carefully balanced composition.
Printed as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a beautifully textured, heavyweight archival paper chosen to complement the rich painterly surfaces, delicate botanical details, graphite-inspired marks and warm literary character of the artwork.
COLOURWAY
An elegant, traditional Christmas palette of warm ivory, parchment, weathered cream, muted evergreen, deep burgundy, cranberry red, warm taupe, soft charcoal and antique gold.
The softly glowing candle provides a gentle warmth, while the winter greenery, red berries and richly coloured Christmas crackers introduce restrained festive accents.
Broad passages of apparent impasto, delicate graphite-inspired trajectories and generous negative space preserve the refined, intimate character of the composition.
AVAILABLE FORMATS
STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm
A smaller, intimate format with a clean-cut edge, without the deckled-edge effect. The poem, typography and imagery are carefully adjusted to preserve readability, balance and negative space.
SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm
The artwork at its intended scale, featuring the appearance of a traditional deckled (torn) paper edge, visually reproduced within the artwork itself.
The physical print is clean-cut to fit neatly into a standard 30 × 40 cm frame, while retaining the character of a softly torn, handmade paper edge within the printed composition.
Small differences in typography, spacing or placement may appear between formats, as each version is composed specifically for its proportions.
The visible paper texture, graphite-inspired marks, unfinished painterly passages and broad areas of apparent impasto are intentional parts of the artwork. The sculptural paint effects and subtle gold-toned details are reproduced within the printed image; the finished Giclée print itself remains flat.
PERSONALISATION
A name, Christmas year or short personal dedication may be added in a subtle handwritten style, thoughtfully placed to complement the original composition.
A particularly thoughtful Christmas keepsake for friends, family members, neighbours, colleagues or anyone you would like to remember with a personal and meaningful Christmas wish.
Personalisation can be kept very simple, allowing the poem and its message to remain the focus.
Any personalised names or dedications shown in product images are examples of how the artwork can be customised.
UNFRAMED
The print is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled settings shown in product images are for presentation only.
Colours and subtle tonal details may vary slightly between your screen and the finished Fine Art print.
