WHEN WE FOUND THE RHYTHM

At some point, uncertainty gives way to recognition.

The distance closes.

The hands meet.

Two separate movements begin to find the same rhythm.

When We Found The Rhythm is the second work in The Togetherness Triptych, continuing the story begun in Before We Touched.

Here, the tentative beginning has become closeness.

The figures move together, held within the same painterly space, their bodies no longer reaching across a gap but responding to one another with confidence and instinct.

There is intimacy in the way they hold each other, but also movement — a sense that connection is not something static. It is something learned, adjusted, lost and found again.

The graphite remains visible beneath and around the figures, while broad painterly passages gather more strongly through the composition, suggesting a relationship becoming fuller, richer and more physically present.

This is not about perfection.

It is about the moment when two people begin to understand how to move together without losing themselves entirely.

When We Found the Rhythm forms Part Two of a three-piece triptych. It is designed to sit naturally beside the other works in the series, while remaining a complete Fine Art piece in its own right.

Created for those who recognise that closeness is rarely about becoming the same.

It is about learning when to lead, when to follow, when to hold on —

and when to move together.

PRODUCT DETAILS

A digital artwork by Surreal Mindscapes, created in a Painterly style inspired by expressive graphite drawing and sculptural impasto painting, and produced as a museum-quality Giclée Fine Art print.

This artwork forms Part Two of The Togetherness Triptych. Each work is available separately and has been composed to stand beautifully on its own, while the complete set creates a connected visual narrative when displayed together.

Expressive graphite-inspired marks and broad painterly passages are fused throughout the composition, allowing the figures to move between drawn line, softened form and visually sculptural paint. The surrounding texture becomes richer than in the first work, reflecting the growing closeness at the centre of the story.

The physical artwork is a flat Fine Art print. The visible raised paint, broken edges and impasto-like surfaces are part of the digital composition rather than physically applied paint.

Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm, a beautifully textured, heavyweight Fine Art paper chosen to complement the artwork’s graphite character, restrained palette and visually tactile painterly detail.

COLOURWAY

Warm ivory · graphite black · weathered charcoal · muted blue-grey · soft stone · raw umber · subtle ochre gold

AVAILABLE FORMATS

STUDIO — 21 × 30 cm

SIGNATURE — 30 × 40 cm

Each format is carefully composed for its individual proportions. Small differences in cropping, spacing or placement may therefore appear between sizes.

The broad impasto-like passages, visibly broken paint edges, irregular graphite-inspired lines, splashes and softly unfinished areas are intentional parts of the artwork. Texture is deliberately concentrated rather than applied evenly across the composition, while faces and skin remain visually calmer and smoother.

UNFRAMED

The artwork is supplied unframed. Any frames or styled interior settings shown in presentation images are for display purposes only.

Colours, contrast and fine tonal details may vary slightly between screen display and the finished Fine Art print.

Designed and created by Surreal Mindscapes.
